Ahmadinejad Dodges Assassination Plot

During a speech to a conference of expatriate Iranians in Tehran on Monday, Ahmadinejad said he believed he was the target of an assassination plot by Israel. “The stupid Zionists have hired mercenaries to assassinate me,” he said.

Yeah sure, we want to believe you Mr Iranian President. Face it, if it was the Israelis you would be dead! Most likely it’s one of your fellow Iranians. Perhaps one of your sub-contractors that supplies the Iranian IEDs to your agents in Iraq.

Don’t Poke The Bear

From my history lessons, the Soviet Union wanted its satellite states to be a buffer against another Blitzkrieg attack on Russia from Europe. Condi Rice is really pushing the envelope when she wants to place anti missile systems in countries bordering Russia. It’s one thing to try to contain the bear but it’s really not a good idea to poke the bear and expect to escape unscathed. In the Reuters story. “Russia rejects U.S. missile proposals” the bear responds.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said last week he planned to deploy missile systems near Poland’s border in retaliation for U.S. plans to install elements of the proposed missile defense system in Poland and the Czech Republic.

Washington says the shield is needed to protect the United States against missile strikes from what it calls rogue states, specifically Iran.

“We’ve been very clear with regards to the intent and purpose of the missile defense site in Europe and what it’s designed for and have offered any number of ways and means to mitigate some of the Russian concerns,” Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman told reporters

He said Iran’s announcement on Wednesday that it had test-fired a new generation of surface-to-surface missile was another reminder of the importance of establishing the shield, “to defend the U.S. and Europe against a threat that is developing in Iran.”

Do you think Iran would be so stupid to launch a missile against the United States or Europe? If Iran attacks us it will be a bomb on a ship, truck or airplane in a major US city, certainly not by a missile that can be tracked back to Iran.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Threatens US

In light of the discovery of 3 Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Iraq this week, the Unites States placed the Revolutionary Guard on the list of known terrorist organizations. In response the Iranian Revolutionary Guards make threats against the United States.

Iran is in Iraq killing Americans and making threats against us. The American political establishment for the most part is still in denial. Al Qaeda in Iran - No Surprise

According to a New York Sun article, Iran Is Found To Be a Lair of Al Qaeda, Iran is sheltering elements of Al Qaeda inside it’s borders.

This is no surprise to me. I’ll bet they have been there for quite some time. Al Qaeda can’t exist without a sponsor. I’m sure they are just waiting to get their hand on a shinny nuke to unleash in America. All with Iran’s blessing.

The American political establishment is deluding themselves if they don’t take Iran’s threat against America serious.

Buried in the story, “two claims by the US army over the weekend implicating Iran in attacks against US forces in Iraq.” and even more worrisome,
“troops in Iraq uncovered a field containing 50 Iranian-made rocket launchers, all aimed at a US army base.”

The Iranians are at war with The United States and the Democrat’s war against The President of The United States still continues.

Ahmadinejad - “Countdown to Israel’s destruction has begun”

Iran has been waging a proxy war in Iraq against the United States and US troops for sometime now. Iran has been supplying, engineering and training the Islamic terrorists in Iraq on how to build and detonate powerful improvised explosive devices, (IED). These devices have killed hundreds of our soldiers and thousands of Iraqi civillans. (See US forces find Iranian money in Baghdad raid for the story)


Iran is directly interfering and undermining our mission and no one holds them accountable


Now the leader of Iran has declared, according to this story from ynet news, “Countdown to Israel’s destruction has begun.” Ahmadinejad also went on to include a vague reference to the United States in his rhetoric, “Israel is not the only nation about to collapse, The other “corrupt” nations will also give in to the Islamic republic’s strength and suffer the same fate.


I certainly hope that we have assured Ahmadinejad of the destruction his country would receive if he tries.


Iran wages war against the United States and the response of our leaders is to do nothing. Meanwhile the Democrat’s war against our President continues on a daily basis with no hope for cessation of hostilities. What an irony.
