So they’re trying to brazen this out, Charles, and the president, as you indicated, I believe, is doubling down. They’re panicked. They’re going to politically commit the U.S. in three weeks to a treaty now in violation of their own express policy of waiting for Congress to tell them what they’re able to do because they really do believe they must act now.
Yet, within days of the ClimateGate scandal breaking, Obama surprisingly announced that he’s going to Copenhagen with a pledge for serious carbon dioxide emissions cuts.
Barack Obama has thrown his weight behind a deal on climate change by announcing he will attend the Copenhagen summit with a pledge for a 17 per cent cut in US emissions.
The US president’s pledge removes one of the final obstacles to a deal, as other developed countries have already announced their targets to cut emissions by 2020.

Dimitri Soudas announced Harper decided to attend one day after U.S. President Barack Obama and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao announced their attendance at the U.N. talks. Soudas said Harper’s decision was based on the fact that now ‘a critical mass of world leaders will be attending.’
The Plot Thickens!
Along comes ClimateGate, and Obama quickly announced that he’s heading to Copenhagen with a fairly serious emissions cut pledge.
The UK’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) ‘commented’ data code showing the manipulation. A good programmer add lots of comments in the data code to explain what they are doing. The CRU’s programmer comments in the program code reveal the manipulation of the data to get the results the CRU wanted.
Bottom Line, the CRU manipulated the data to get the results they wanted. This is not science.

He (Gore) also brushed aside questions over the reliability of climate science that have followed the publication last month of leaked e-mails between climate experts. He claimed that the scientific consensus around climate change ‘continues to grow from strength to strength’. He added: ‘The naysayers are in a sunset phase with a spectacular climax just before they subside from view. This is a race between common sense and unreality.’
Yes Al, it is a race against your ‘unreality” and the common sense of more rational individuals. I do argee with you there.
My colleagues and I accept that some of the published emails do not read well. I regret any upset or confusion caused as a result. Some were clearly written in the heat of the moment, others use colloquialisms frequently used between close colleagues

Is The World Listening?
In a previous post, OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO CEDE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE UNITED STATES, UK’s Lord Christopher Monckton sounds the alarm on the United Nations Climate Change Treaty. The Treaty is based on the data and findings provided by the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit. He has been pointing out the fraud involved for years.
The admission follows the leaking of a thousand private emails sent and received by Professor Phil Jones, the CRU’s director. In them he discusses thwarting climate sceptics seeking access to such data.
Network journalists who were quick to see racists, haters and extremists amongst the “tea party” protesters were oblivious on Saturday to communists in the “climate justice” march in Copenhagen whose cause they trumpeted—even as the video they showed included brief shots of marchers waving red flags displaying the Soviet Union’s hammer and sickle.
With the national debt now topping $12 trillion, the White House estimates that the government’s tab for servicing the debt will exceed $700 billion a year in 2019, up from $202 billion this year, even if annual budget deficits shrink drastically. Other forecasters say the figure could be much higher.
In concrete terms, an additional $500 billion a year in interest expense would total more than the combined federal budgets this year for education, energy, homeland security and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Hey Congress! How about getting that spending under control.
Insanity is often described as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Adding a whole new entitlement program for health care on top of a mountain of debt is insanity.
If the United States is not insolvent we are getting pretty close to it. No Worries! For Washington DC it’s business as usual.
On the eve of Saturday’s showdown in the Senate over health-care reform, Democratic leaders still hadn’t secured the support of Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.), one of the 60 votes needed to keep the legislation alive. The wavering lawmaker was offered a sweetener: at least $100 million in extra federal money for her home state.
And so it came to pass that Landrieu walked onto the Senate floor mid-afternoon Saturday to announce her aye vote—and to trumpet the financial ‘fix’ she had arranged for Louisiana. ‘I am not going to be defensive,’ she declared. ‘And it’s not a $100 million fix. It’s a $300 million fix.’
Landrieu Still Expects More
‘My vote today,’ she said in a soft Southern accent that masked the hard politics at play, ‘should in no way be construed by the supporters of this current framework as an indication of how I might vote as this debate comes to an end.’ Among the concessions she’ll seek: more tax credits for small business and a removal of the version of the ‘public option’ now in the bill.
Apparently looting the treasury for any purpose including buying the votes of United States Senators is just standard operating procedure for Democrats. How did we get to a 12 Trillion dollar deficit and future obligations of 56 Trillion dollars? It’s easy. 300 Million here, 300 Million there, it adds up rather quickly.
In regard to your support of ‘Health Care Reform.’ Of course, thats what you Democrats are calling it. Do you know what it should be called? How about “The Destruction Of Health Care In America Act?’ Thats a more honest title. Don’t you think?

Florida best choice is to vote Marco Rubio into office. Marco has conservative DNA and will win on the principles this country was founded on. Marco is no RINO.

President Barack Obama gave his sternest warning yet about the need to contain rising U.S. deficits, saying on Wednesday that if government debt were to pile up too much, it could lead to a double-dip recession.
It is important though to recognize if we keep on adding to the debt, even in the midst of this recovery, that at some point, people could lose confidence in the U.S. economy in a way that could actually lead to a double-dip recession
Former President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush made a surprise and unannounced visit to the families and victims of the recent Fort Hood Terrorist Attack. The former President instructed the Commander at Fort Hood that there would be NO publicity of this visit. The Bush’s are said to have spent over 2 hours talking and consoling the families of the recent tragedy. President Bush showed his true leadership and character by making this visit in private. He had visited the soldiers at Walter Reed Medical Center many times in private, with no cameras, when he was President and carried on this tradition, showing his true character as a leader.
President Barack Obama, on the other hand, has announced that he will be attending the memorial service and will be speaking at this event in order to publicly show he cares. Obama recently went to Dover Air Force Base and was video taped saluting the caskets of fallen soldiers as they are returned home. While Bush never visited Dover (something he should have done), he often met with families and soldiers in private and thought it was something a President should do and that it shouldn’t be a publicity moment.
No matter how you may feel about President Bush. When it comes to Class this is a real contrast to the current resident of the White House. Thank you, GW!
All House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) wants for Christmas is healthcare reform.
The speaker told constituents yesterday that she wants to finish health reform as a “Christmas present” for the country.
“I’m hopeful that we will have a bill as a Christmas present for the American people,” Pelosi said, according to KCBS. “But we will have a bill and it will be soon.”
Hey Pelosi! The best Christmas present you could give the American People would be to resign.
The Democrat and Republicans In Name Only, (RINO)s, have lost touch with the American People. They have become the political elite and We the People have become "fly-over country." I am not a Nazi, a terrorist, a member of the KKK, a racist, or a member of an angry mob. I'm not a birther, teabagger, truther or astroturfer. I do, however believe in the original intent of the Founding Fathers, the United States Constituton and the rule of law. I believe that Government should serve the People, not the other way around.
